MLB Opening Day 2023 is scheduled for Thursday, March 30, and game times have been announced for all 30 teams.

Now that MLB has released the game times for the full regular-season schedule, we know when every team plays on Opening Day 2023, taking place on Thursday, March 30.

According to MLB.com, this marks the first time since 1968 that every team will play their first game of the season on the same day, weather permitting, of course.

As happens every year, there is a light five-game schedule the following day, Friday, March 31, and then every team is back in action on the weekend.

Notable MLB Opening Day 2023 games

Of the 15 games taking place on Opening Day, nine are divisional showdowns, while three are Interleague match-ups.

With games staggered throughout the day, there are plenty of interesting match-ups for baseball fans to see. The first games of the season get started at 1:05 p.m. ET and feature the San Fransisco Giants in the Bronx taking on the New York Yankees and the Atlanta Braves visiting the Washington Nationals.

The World Series champion Houston Astros open the season at home hosting the Chicago White Sox in the lone East Coast prime-time game.

Opening Day wraps up with a trio of games on the West Coast, including the Los Angeles Dodgers playing host to the Arizona Diamondbacks.
