2. Free agency signing: Candace Parker

At the end of the 2022 season, Candace Parker found herself bounced in the semi-finals. She would then announce that she would return to the W in November.

Most fans around the world entertained the idea that she would return to the Chicago Sky who she helped win their first title in 2021.

However, Parker never confirmed that she would be returning to the Sky for the 2023 WNBA season. She like most free agents would entertain the market and see what options fit.

As free agency started to unfold sources announced that her top two destinations involved the Sky and Sparks.

Parker’s signing provided another shift in the landscape of the WNBA. The Aces already captured a title in 2022, but the CP3 signing gives them a strong chance to repeat.

CP3 can impact the floor by bringing the ball up as a point forward, she can back down smaller defenders, or space the floor out with her shot.

The Tennesse product finished the 2022 season averaging 13.2 points, 8.6 rebounds, and 4.5 assists while shooting 45.8 percent from the floor. Also, she will be able to impact the game with or without the ball and she will also compliment her teammates.
