Jordan Addison from USC is amongst a list of the top receivers projected to go in the upcoming NFL Draft.

I got the chance to sit down with him on Wednesday to talk about a variety of topics including why he’d love to play for the Giants, his childhood heroes, and how playing cornerback in high school gives him an advantage.

There was a video that surfaced Wednesday morning where Addison said that he’d love to play for the Giants and that they were “his team”. I asked him to expand on that.

“Me, my brothers, my cousins, and my uncle, we all liked the Giants growing up,” he said.

He also spoke on how playing cornerback in high school gives him an edge on his competition.

“It helped me develop my mind in different ways,” Addison said. “See coverages differently. Develop that quarterback mindset when they’re going through their progression. It helps me know if I’m the first read I got to run my route this way, all the way to the last read so I have time to run my route a certain. It helps me break down that thought process a little bit different.”

Be sure to watch the full interview above where we talk about the players he looks up to as well as how his speed helped him with the ladies while growing up.

Addison is partnered with Gillette leading up to this year’s NFL Draft.
