Which college had the most players selected in the 2023 NFL Draft? Which conference reigned supreme? We’ve got the answers.

The 2023 NFL Draft is in the books with 259 players picked by the 32 teams all looking to bolster their rosters.

Behind every selection is a college allegiance of course. The draft isn’t just about finding homes for all the NFL hopefuls. It’s about bragging rights for the college teams that put them there.

This year, a couple of familiar powerhouses dominated from Round 1 to 7.

Which college had the most players taken in the 2023 NFL Draft?

  • 10 – Alabama, Georgia
  • 9 – Michigan
  • 8 – TCU
  • 6 – Clemson, Florida, LSU, Ohio St., Oregon, Penn St., Pitt
  • 5 – Auburn, Maryland, Oklahoma, Purdue, South Carolina, Stanford, Tennessee, Texas

In a surprise to no one, Alabama and Georgia led the way with 10 draft picks apiece. Neither of them bested Georgia’s record of 15 draft picks from 2022.

Considering the makeup of the College Football Playoff, it’s no shock that the closest contenders to the Bulldogs and Crimson Tide were the Michigan Wolverines and TCU Horned Frogs.
