The WNBA has a full slate of games this week. Which matchups should be at the top of your viewing list?

The WNBA season is in full swing and entering week two of action. Players are settling into the grind of the regular season and rookies have made their debuts.

With storylines developing across the league, it can be overwhelming to keep up with what’s going on where. With consistent schedule overlap, it can be even more difficult choosing which games to watch.

Allow us to help you decide. Here are three must-see games from this week’s WNBA slate.

WNBA must-see games this week, May 29-June 4

Chicago Sky at Atlanta Dream, May 30, 7 p.m. EST

Where to watch: Twitter, WNBA League Pass, Bally Sports Southeast, Marquee Sports Network

This should be one of the most exciting games of the week, given how similar these two teams are. Each team features key players at the same position, making for some intriguing on-court matchups. These teams also have a lot of personality and flair, which could make things spicy.

Marina Mabrey and Allisha Gray face off for the first time after each left Dallas this off-season. Both have been thriving in their new roles, and it will be interesting to see if their familiarity helps them slow each other down.

Other notable matchups to watch will be Rhyne Howard and Kahleah Copper, and Cheyenne Parker and Elizabeth Williams. The bench units will also be vital for both sides as they look for an edge in this one.

New York Liberty at Seattle Storm, May 30, 9 p.m. EST

Where to watch: ESPN2

For the first time ever, Breanna Stewart will play in Seattle as a member of another team. That fact alone makes this a game to see this week, even though the game itself may not even be much of a contest.

These two teams are on opposite ends of the spectrum. The Storm fully embraced their rebuild in the off-season, while the Liberty formed a superteam. Stewart caused both shifts.

This will be a good chance for the Storm’s young players to get reps against some of the top talents in the league, though. Seattle still has Jewell Loyd, too, who can singlehandedly keep them in the game, if needed.

Dallas Wings at Connecticut Sun, June 4, 1 p.m. EST

Where to watch: NBATV, WNBA League Pass, NBC Sports Boston, Bally Sports Southwest Extra

This matchup features two teams with extreme stylistic differences. The Wings play a higher-tempo, trigger-happy style led by league-leading scorer Arike Ogunbowale. The Sun play a more defensive-minded, ball-movement-heavy style that can control the pace of even the best teams. The team that can control the tempo should control this game.

This game also features a matchup between two of the most unique players in the league: Satou Sabally and Alyssa Thomas.

Sabally is off to the strongest start of her young career, averaging career highs in points, rebounds, assists, and minutes per game. The former number two overall pick has long been dubbed a “unicorn” and is finally healthy and living up to the name.

Thomas is a unicorn in her own right, too. Her unique push shot is a trademark, and she is the engine that makes the Sun go. She is once again in the mix for MVP, and has an even better chance at winning it with Jonquel Jones gone to New York.
