The Philadelphia 76ers and Miami Heat may have the least entertaining second round matchup, at least for the first two games, as Joel Embiid is out with an orbital fracture and mild concussion for Philly.

That has made Miami an eight-point favorite in this game, but is there another way we can attack this matchup? I think so.

Let’s get into a few prop bets for Game 1 with all odds via WynnBET

Best NBA Prop Bets for Sixers vs. Heat

  • Jimmy Butler OVER 36.5 Points, Rebounds and Assists (-115)
  • James Harden UNDER 25.5 Points (-135)
  • Tyrese Maxey to Hit 3+ 3-Pointers (-105)

Jimmy Butler OVER 36.5 Points, Rebounds and Assists (-115)

Jimmy Butler missed Game 5 against the Atlanta Hawks with a knee injury, but he should be back for Miami on Monday.

Butler has been fantastic in these playoffs, as he’s averaging 30.5 points, 7.8 rebounds and 5.3 assists per game. Butler has cleared this line in three straight matchups, and I think we see him have the ball in his hands even more with Lowry out.

In the only game Butler played without Lowry this postseason, he put up 36 points, 10 rebounds and four dimes.

James Harden UNDER 25.5 Points (-135)

I am not sold on James Harden having a big game on Monday, even with Joel Embiid out of the lineup.

Harden has shot the ball horribly this season, registering his worst 3-point percentage of his career and his second worst field goal percentage. The Heat defense completely shut down Trae Young in the first round, and it wouldn’t surprise me if Miami deploys a similar attack on Harden.

The former MVP has cleared 25.5 points just one time since March 29! Fade him at this number again tonight.

Tyrese Maxey to Hit 3+ 3-Pointers (-105)

This is definitely the riskiest play of these three, but Maxey is going to be forced to take on a larger scoring load with Embiid out of the lineup.

Over his last 12 games, Maxey has cleared this line six times, and he’s taking an average of 6.2 3-pointers per game in the playoffs.

Miami is going to key in on him and Harden, but I think the volume will be there for Tyrese to hit this prop.
