3 Best NBA Prop Bets Today for Pelicans vs. Suns (Fade C.J.McCollum, Back Devin Booker)
By Peter Dewey
Game 2 of the first-round series between the New Orleans Pelicans and Phoenix Suns will tip off on Tuesday night, and we’ve got you covered with a preview for this matchup here.
But what if you don’t love a side in this game? Well, here are three player props that I am considering for Tuesday’s action, with all odds via WynnBET:
Best NBA Prop Bets for Pelicans vs. Suns
- C.J. McCollum UNDER 25.5 Points (-135)
- Devin Booker OVER 27.5 Points (-125)
- Jonas Valanciunas OVER 12.5 Rebounds (-135)
C.J. McCollum UNDER 25.5 Points (-135)
C.J. McCollum has taken 24 and 25 shots in his last two games, and yet he has fallen short of this number in each one.
He’s going to see more of Mikal Bridges or Jae Crowder defensively, and while I usually love volume for players, it hasn’t translated into success in the scoring department.
The Suns are a top five defense, and they held this Pelicans team to just 34 first-half points in Game 1. I don’t see McCollum going off in Game 2.

Devin Booker OVER 27.5 Points (-125)
I’m fading C.J., but I love Phoenix guard Devin Booker’s points prop in this game, even though he only scored 25 points in Game 1.
Booker and the Suns took their foot off the gas in the second half, and he only attempted 19 shots, his fewest attempts in a Game since March 23.
I think Booker can get to this number with a few more looks on Tuesday, and he should step up his efficiency after going 8-for-19 from the floor in Game 1.
Jonas Valanciunas OVER 12.5 Rebounds (-135)
If there is one thing the Pelicans did well in Game 1, it was get on the offensive glass, as Jonas Valanciunas, despite shooting 7-for-21, had 25 rebounds.
I don’t expect him to have that big of a game in Game 2, but the veteran big man has cleared this total in two of three games since the play-in tournament started.
Valanciunas is a handful, even for Deandre Ayton, and if the Pelicans keep missing shots, he will be there to clean up at least a few misses on the offensive end.
