Bye weeks are over in the NFL, which means that every team has played the same amount of games. That makes it just a little bit easier to compare notes and stats across the league – specifically which teams hit the OVER the most.

In a season defined by UNDERs, here have been the three most trustworthy teams to bet the OVER on.

Detroit Lions (9-4)

After a few rough weeks earlier in the season, the Lions’ offense has come back to life. They’ve scored at least 25 points in their last five games and have gone 4-1 to the over in that span. The one game they missed the over was by 1 point.

Jared Goff looks revitalized, as well as D’Andre Swift, which gives Detroit a great two-way attack. Furthermore, the defense has continued to struggle. Detroit is last in yards per play allowed and 31st in opponent points per game. A high scoring offense and a bad defense is a great recipe for overs, and Detroit has perfected the recipe.

Philadelphia Eagles (9-4)

The Eagles, even with a great scoring defense, are still one of the best over teams in the league. That’s because they have the MVP favorite Jalen Hurts, who is leading an explosive offense. Philadelphia has the No. 1 scoring offense in the league, which is a great thing to bet on for overs.

Philly has scored 35 points or more in the last three games, which takes care of over 50% of the total. As long as the offense keeps rolling, the Eagles can keep winning in blowout fashion and hitting overs.

Chicago Bears (9-4)

Since that Monday night in New England, Justin Fields and the Bears’ offense has been lethal. In the last seven games, they are averaging just over 25 points per game. The defense has also contributed to hitting the over by allowing 25.6 points per game (29th in the league).

There will likely be changes on the defensive side of the ball in the offseason, but right now the points will continue to flood in. The Bears play the league-leading Eagles this week, which will be a tough assignment for an already bad defense.

The over is in good shape.
