The UNDER is the worst bet in sports because you're actively rooting against any scoring. That is unless you're betting on one of these three teams, then it's awesome! And profitable.

This year we have a couple of teams that were expected to have prolific offenses leading the way for UNDER bettors. And, as you might have guessed based on the photo above, Tom Brady's Bucs are among the best UNDER bets this year.

Here are the three best teams to bet the UNDER on this year so far.

Denver Broncos (9-1)

Let Russ Cook? More like let UNDER bettors cook!

Russell Wilson and the Broncos inept offense coupled with their dominant defense are crushing it for UNDER bettors. They've hit six straight games, during which time their offense has averaged 13.5 points per game.

Unfortunately, Vegas has made a critical adjustment, dropping the total for this week's game before 40 points as the Broncos face the Panthers. But the UNDER has hit in both of the Broncos other two games where the total was set under 40 points, so don't rush to bet the OVER just because the total is so low for this game.

Indianapolis Colts (9-2)

The Colts quarterback carousel has led to a lot of issues for them as a team, but not for UNDER bettors. They rank 27th in yards per play on offense, but their defense gives up the seventh-fewest yards per play in the NFL. That's a recipe for UNDER success.

The interesting thing is when the Colts win, the OVER is actually 2-2. This week, they host the Steelers, who are 6-4 in favor of the UNDER, and are favorites. So if the Colts win and betting trend continues, watch out for the OVER to sneak up on you.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (8-2)

You wouldn't expect a Tom Brady-led team to hit the UNDER at such a prolific rate, but then again you wouldn't expect a Tom Brady-led team to rank 21st in passing yards per play and 32nd in rushing yards per play. And in case you thought this was about Vegas setting the O/U so high because of Brady, the total has been set between 38.5-46.5 in the Bucs' last six games. The UNDER is 5-1 in those games.

This week the Bucs play the Browns, who are one of the best OVER teams in the NFL. Something's gotta break, especially with the total set at 43.0.
