There are so many things to look at when betting Game 3 of the NBA Finals from the previous two games to playoff long statistics to the betting trends that we have at our disposal.

It’s important to consider all of these things before placing your wager on tonight’s game, where the Boston Celtics are 3.5-point favorites at home against the Golden State Warriors at WynnBET Sportsbook

Here are a few key trends that you should know before placing a wager on tonight’s game:

Away Underdogs Off a Loss Are Money as Home Favorites

This trend is a bit of a mouthful, but the Celtics lost Game 2 of the NBA Finals as a road underdog and are 3.5-point favorites in Game 3 in Boston.

Since 2003, teams that have been in the same spot are 6-0 straight up and 4-1-1 against the spread.

The Celtics have shown they can hang with the Warriors as well as make game-sealing runs (as they did in Game 1), so I wouldn’t be shocked if they handle business at home in Game 3.

Celtics are ELITE Following a Loss

The Celtics are undefeated in the playoffs following a loss this season, and they’ve done it in a pressure environment as well, winning Game 7 in Miami in the Eastern Conference Finals.

Dating back to Jan. 29 of this year, Boston has lost two games in a row just one time, going 12-1 following a loss.

This Boston teams has shown a ton of resilience in the playoffs, so don’t be surprised if they keep this trend going.

Celtics Are Just 5-4 Straight Up at Home in 2022 Postseason

I’ve rattled off a couple of stats that are in Boston’s favor in Game 3, but the Celtics have been surprisingly average at home in the playoffs.

Boston lost two games to both the Milwaukee Bucks and Miami Heat at TD Garden, and now they are facing a Warriors team that is 3-0 SU and ATS in Game 3s so far this postseason.

I personally am on the Celtics in this game, but it is a bit concerning that they haven’t defending home court that well in the playoffs.
