With NFL training camps having begun, people are heading to the sportsbooks to place their NFL futures.

One of the most bet on NFL futures is divisional winners, and according to DraftKings Sportsbook, the majority of teams that are being bet on to win their division are the ones that are set as the betting favorites.

In fact, there are only three underdogs that are receiving the most money bet to win their respective divisions. Those three teams are the Cincinnati Bengals to win the AFC North, the Minnesota Vikings to win the NFC North, and the Philadelphia Eagles to win the NFC East.

Let's dive into the odds for those teams to win their divisions, as well as a breakdown of their path to achieve the feat.

NFL Divisional Underdogs Receiving Most Money to Win Their Division

  • Bengals (+190) - 56% of bets, 40% of money
  • Vikings (+265) - 22% of bets, 41% of money
  • Eagles (+165) - 44% of bets, 47% of money

Bengals to Win AFC North

This one is truly the least surprising of the bunch. Of course the 2021 winners of the division as well as the AFC Champions are going to be amongst the most bet on teams to win their division. The Ravens are only slightly favored (+160), but it may confuse some people as to why it's that close.

Let's not forget that the Ravens were amongst the most injured teams in the NFL last season, including an injury to their former MVP quarterback in Lamar Jackson.

It's going to be a fun battle between the two teams for the AFC North crown, but bettors, both by percentage of bets and percentage of total money, are backing the Bengals.

Vikings to Win NFC North

This is by far the most surprising of the list, as well as the one with the longest odds.

The most interesting thing to not is that they're receiving the most total amount of money, but the 68% of bet slips are on the Packers and only 22% on the Vikings. That tells us that "sharps" are backing the Vikings here, as they're usually the ones laying down big money bets. Meanwhile, the "public" seems to believe that Green Bay will win the NFC North for the fourth straight season.

The biggest questions in the NFC North are who is Aaron Rodgers going to throw to now that Davante Adams is in Las Vegas, and how will Kevin O'Connell will fare as the new head coach of the Vikings.

Eagles to Win the NFC East

A lot of hype is behind the Eagles, after making a playoff appearance last season and then trading for star WR from Tennessee, A.J. Brown. Can they dethrone the Dallas Cowboys as kings of the NFC East?

They finished three games back from the Cowboys last season, and as we know, this division is almost always up for grabs.

The Eagles are receiving both the most amount of bets as well as the most amount of money.
