Bengals Are Great Bet to Win AFC Championship

Joe Burrow has completely transformed this Cincinnati Bengals team. This is no longer a team that's just going to roll over in the postseason. They took down a tough Las Vegas Raiders team on Wild Card Weekend, and are now serious threats to make a run at the Super Bowl.

I'll admit, I was on the Raiders last week, but that wasn't a slight at Cincinnati, I just felt Vegas was underrated. Now it's the Bengals who are the underrated ones in my opinion.

AFC Championship Odds

Here are the odds at WynnBET to win the AFC Championship:

  • Kansas City Chiefs +165
  • Buffalo Bills +210
  • Tennessee Titans +310
  • Cincinnati Bengals +725

Bengals Are a Great Bet to Win AFC Championship

It makes sense for the Bengals to be on the bottom of the odds list to win the AFC at this point. Even if they get past the Titans, they'll have to travel to Kansas City or Buffalo in the championship game. With that being said, +725 is insulting and jumping on them to pull it off is something you should consider if you want a value bet.

They're only 3.5-point underdogs to a Titans team that I've been calling fraudulent all season, and then if they win, they could face a Chiefs team that they've already beat this season, downing them 34-31 in Week 17.

Don't get me wrong, the Bengals would rightfully be an underdog in the rematch, but if its happened once before it can certainly happen again.

Joe Burrow remains undefeated in playoff scenarios in his football career, both at the collegiate and the professional level, so if you want to back him to keep that streak going for two more games, +725 is a fantastic bet.

Peter Dewey wrote at the beginning of the month about how the Bengals were being overlooked in the AFC, and that's even more true as we head into the divisional round.
