Nine games are on the Friday night NBA slate this evening, just two less games than the number of players suspended from this week's melee in Detroit between the Pistons and Orlando Magic.

The NBA suspended 11 total players, including eight members of the Magic for leaving the bench in the midst of a scuffle between Killian Hayes of the Pistons, and Orlando's Moritz Wagner.

Now, both teams play this Friday night shorthanded, with the Magic hosting the Washington Wizards as a five-point underdog at home, while the Pistons head to Chicago to face the Bulls as 8.5-point road dogs.

Meanwhile, two games get national NBA TV coverage this evening starting at 7:30 p.m. ET when the L.A. Lakers continue their road trip in to Atlanta to face the Hawks, followed by the Golden State Warriors hosting the Portland Trail Blazers as a short home dog.

Golden State won't have JaMychal Green or Andrew Wiggins available, along with Steph Curry, while Draymond Green and Donte DiVencenzo are listed as day-to-day.

As for the top NBA game of the night? The New Orleans Pelicans find themselves at the top of the Western Conference standings at 22-12, and host the Philadelphia 76ers at Smoothie King Center in New Orleans this evening.

Despite both teams playing terrific defense of late (both ranked in the top 8 for defensive ranking in December), the trends suggest the over is in play tonight from New Orleans. Via Covers, the Pels have played to the over in six of their last seven, and are 6-0 in their last six games, 5-1 in their last six at home, and 6-0 in their last six after a loss vs. the spread.

Meanwhile, Philadelphia, despite a top 3 defensive ranking has gone over their total in four straight on the road, and are 8-3 to the over in their last 11 games.

Below are the best available odds for every single game played on the hardwood this evening in the Association, along with every game's initial opening odds, spreads and totals to follow the line movement throughout the day.
