The Los Angeles Lakers have won three straight games heading into Tuesday’s game with the Phoenix Suns, who are once again contending for a top spot in the Western Conference.

After a brutal 2-10 start, the Lakers are looking a little more competent, largely because of Anthony Davis’ recent play.

Chris Paul won’t play in this matchup due to a heel injury, while Lakers star LeBron James is listed as questionable.

How should we wager in the prop market in this primetime game? Here are my three favorites for Tuesday night:

Lakers vs. Suns Best NBA Prop Bets

  •  Anthony Davis OVER 25.5 Points
  • Cameron Payne OVER 24.5 Points and Assists
  • Torrey Craig OVER 9.5 Points

Anthony Davis OVER 25.5 Points

We’re getting to see some of Anthony Davis’ best basketball of his career over the last week or so. The Lakers big man is averaging 29.8 points and 13.2 rebounds per game over his last six contests.

If Davis keeps playing like this, the Lakers do have a chance to make the playoffs this season once LeBron returns.

The Suns are eighth in the NBA in defensive rating, but Davis has cleared this number in four of his last six games. If he stays aggressive, the Lakers big man is a great bet to push 30 points on Tuesday night.

Cameron Payne OVER 24.5 Points and Assists

Cam Payne is making the most of his opportunity starting for the injured Paul, averaging 20.2 points, 3.7 rebounds and 6.3 assists in 33.2 minutes per game.

Payne will get the start again tonight, and he should be able to attack a Lakers defense that has fallen to ninth in the NBA after starting out as one of the top five units in the league.

Los Angeles plays at the second fastest pace in the NBA, so I wouldn't be shocked if we see a few extra possessions on both sides in this game. Payne has cleared this prop in four of his six starts, so trust him again on Tuesday.

Torrey Craig OVER 9.5 Points

Torrey Craig has taken over in the Suns’ starting lineup with Cameron Johnson down with a knee injury, and he’s been great over the last four games, clearing this number in each game.

Craig has seen an uptick in usage the last five games, taking at least eight shots in each game, averaging 12.4 points.

He’s shooting 50.0 percent from the field and 43.1 percent from beyond the arc, so if the usage is there, Craig should be in line for another double-digit night against the Lakers.
