We've approached the 2/3 portion of the NFL season with Week 12 this week, giving us only six more weeks of regular season prop wagering opportunities the rest of the way.

Throughout the week, the BetSided team of editors not only offers up betting predictions, analysis and picks for every game, we also share our favorite NFL prop bets for each matchup as well.

You can find all those prop bets on our NFL Player Props page, as well as our NFL Prop Bets hub.

For today's action, we're focused on two different NFL running backs, all of which are expected to have big games, but we're going to fade their rushing yard projections and look elsewhere for much more value.

Furthermore, Aaron Rodgers, despite messy conditions in Philadelphia, has an prop line that's far too low on the board.

Each one of today's plays features a matchup from all three slates, so you can spread them out throughout the day.

Here are my three favorite NFL prop bets for Week 12:

Best NFL Prop Bets for Week 12

  • Jeff Wilson OVER 14.5 Receiving Yards (-115)
  • Kyren Williams OVER 1.5 Receptions (-130)
  • Aaron Rodgers OVER 216.5 Passing Yards (-110)

Jeff Wilson OVER 14.5 Receiving Yards - Miami Dolphins vs. Houston Texans

The Texans rank dead-last in the NFL in rushing yards allowed, but they're also pretty atrocious against running backs who can catch as well.

While Wilson hasn't been a massive factor in the receiving game, he still has gone over 21 receiving yards in his last three games, and with no Raheem Mostert, he'll be on the field the bulk of the Dolphins' drives today.

Wilson also saw a season high five targets in the passing game last week, and should tee off on Houston this afternoon at home.

Kyren Williams OVER 1.5 Receptions - Los Angeles Rams at Kansas City Chiefs

With Darrell Henderson being waived at the start of the week, Williams is on track to likely lead the Rams in snaps and targets in the passing game.

Last week, he led the way for the Rams over Cam Akers, despite having seven less carries. In the passing game, however, he had two targets and now will likely get the vacated targets meant to go to Henderson, as L.A. doesn't appear to have plans to use Akers as a receiver or on passing downs.

I also have Williams as my favorite anytime touchdown scorer play in the Sunday Six contest at BetSided at +425 odds today. With L.A. as a near three-score underdog and a first-time quarterback under center, look for plenty of drop-off opportunities for Williams this afternoon.

Aaron Rodgers OVER 216.5 Passing Yards - Green Bay Packers at Philadelphia Eagles

Rodgers is dealing with a major thumb injury, a broken thumb to be exact. But even going up against an Eagles team that's suspect vs. the run this year, this yardage total is still set too low.

Remember, the injury took place nearly seven weeks ago in Week 5, and Rodgers has thrown just as much, if not more since then, so if anything, he's learned to tolerate the pain even more. Yet because the news was confirmed this week, the markets adjusted his line as if he's barely going to throw. That simply won't be the case.

Plus, factor in game script and the Packers as a near seven-point underdog, and at some point, Rodgers will be forced to make throws down the field. It also helps that he has a monster yards-after-catch target now in Christian Watson who has scored five touchdowns in his last two games.
