Best NHL Odds for Every Game Today (Odds, Puck Lines and Totals for Monday, December 12)

Monday brings a six-pack of games to the NHL schedule of action, with two marquee matchups taking place out in Pittsburgh and at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

The Dallas Stars (16-7-5) take on the Pittsburgh Penguins (16-8-4) with the Penguins opening as short home favorites and an over/under of 6.5 goals. The Stars have been an excellent road team against the spread, going 9-4 on the puck line away from home, while Pittsburgh is just 6-7 at home vs. the number. However, the Penguins are on fire of late, winning five consecutive games, including four straight victories at home.

This might be an ideal time to fade a strong Dallas team away from American Airlines Center, given they are just 1-5 over their last six matchups vs. teams above .500.

Also at 7 p.m. ET, the league-leading New Jersey Devils look for their NHL-best 12th win on the road when they head to Madison Square Garden to face the New York Rangers. With a projected total of six goals, it's a near toss-up on the moneyline, so be sure to shop around for the best odds depending on what side you're looking to play

New Jersey is 11-1 away from the Prudential Center this season, with their only loss coming in their first road game of the year. Since then, they've won their last 11 games outside of Newark.

Meanwhile, the Rangers have also been much better away from MSG in 2022, going 9-4-1 SU compared to only 5-6-4 at home. However, New York has had New Jersey's number of late; going 9-2 against the Devils over their last 11 matchups.
