It's a massive 12-game slate in the National Hockey League this Tuesday evening, highlighted by some of the NHL's best teams matching up in conference play.

In the early going, two of the best teams in the East match up in Boston as the Bruins (22-4-1) host the New York Islanders (17-12). Boston leads the Toronto Maple Leafs by three points in the Atlantic Division, and are 10-points ahead of the No. 3 Tampa Bay Lightning. Meanwhile, the Islanders are fifth in the Metropolitan division, but are just four games behind the Pittsburgh Penguins for the second spot.

The Bruins are a monster favorite on the moneyline, but there may be potential value on the puck line for the Islanders, who are 9-5 on the road this year against the spread.

The Tampa Bay Lightning have also gotten things going after a slow start. They're winners of four of their last five games, scoring four goals or more in each of their last six wins. They'll face the Seattle Kraken at home who sit in second place in the Pacific Division and an awfully impressive 9-2-1 record away from home.

However, the game of the night takes place in Winnipeg, as the Jets host the Vegas Golden Knights at 8 p.m. ET.

After a blistering start, Vegas has gone 5-5 in their last 10 games, and are just 2-7-1 to the UNDER. Meanwhile, the first place Central division Jets' are both 7-3-0 in their last 10, as well as 7-3-0 to the OVER in those games as well.

Winnipeg comes off a 5-2 loss at home to the Washington Capitals, but the trends suggest they'll come out with a vengeance tonight. Via Covers, Winnipeg is 7-0 on the moneyline in their last seven games following a loss at home of three goals or more.

There's also one nationally televised matchup on ESPN, but based off record, as well as the odds, it's purely a market-game for a bigger audience rather than a marquee matchup when the Chicago Blackhawks (7-15-4) host the Capitals (14-12-4). Sure, Alex Ovechkin and Patrick Kane are both set to play, but neither of these teams have been anywhere near impressive this season.
