After a shootout victory over the Golden Knights last night, the 44-30-5 Dallas Stars can clinch a postseason appearance with a point against the 22-50-7 Arizona Coyotes tonight at 8:30 PM EST.

Arizona snapped a 10-game losing streak with a win over the Wild last night, but is a no-good, horrible, very bad team with nothing to play for.

As a result, the Stars are massive favorites in one of the biggest line discrepancies I've ever seen in the NHL. Can Dallas clinch a playoff bid at home or will the Coyotes build off last night's win to play spoiler?

Let's check out the odds from WynnBET to help us find out ahead of this Coyotes vs Stars matchup:

Coyotes vs Stars Prediction and Pick

The Stars rebounded from a three-game losing streak to win each of their last two and put themselves in prime position to return to the postseason.

Arizona cashed as massive underdogs last night in Minnesota, but it's hard to imagine them doing the same in Dallas tonight. The Stars are 26-10-3 on their home ice and get to face Coyotes goalie, Harri Sateri, who has been absolutely atrocious.

In Sateri's four appearances this year, he's given up an average of 5.88 goals per game and at least five in three of them. In the other, he was only on the ice for one period and stopped just one of five shots. So, he was really bad even in the one appearance he didn't give up five or more scores.

Dallas may hit this over by themselves, as Arizona has been one of the worst defensive teams in the sport and now will start perhaps the worst goalie in the league. The Stars want to earn this clinching victory in front of their home crowd, and I think they run away with it.

Pick: Stars -1.5 (-175) and Over 6.0 (-115)
