Grizzlies vs. Jazz Prediction and Odds for Monday, October 31 (Ja Morant's Status Could Swing Line)

The Memphis Grizzlies are looking for revenge after a one-point loss to the Utah Jazz on Saturday night when the two teams face off again on Monday.
The Grizzlies are slight favorites in this game, but Desmond Bane, Ja Morant and Jake LaRavia are all questionable for this matchup.
.@memgrizz status update: Desmond Bane (RT Ankle Soreness) has been added to the report as QUESTIONABLE tonight at @utahjazz. https://t.co/2jzJzQwLEP

Does that move the value to the Jazz as short dogs, as they’ve been one of the more surprising teams to start this season?

Grizzlies vs. Jazz Prediction and Pick
The Jazz beat the Grizzlies by one on Saturday with Morant out of the lineup, but Bane (questionable) scored 32 points in that game.
There’s two ways that you can play this as a bettor:
- You can back Memphis now at a discounted price and hope Morant and Bane get ruled in.
- You can take Utah as an underdog in hopes that Morant and Bane are out, as the Jazz may move to favorites if that happens.
Or, you could just stay away and wait for the final injury reports before handicapping this game.
I’m more inclined to do that, but I lean with Memphis after it kept things close without Morant on Saturday.
The Jazz have shot the ball extremely well this season, but I’m waiting for them to regress, since they lack the star power to keep up with a healthy Memphis team.
