Playoff football is officially here and it begins with the Raiders traveling to Cincinnati to take on the Bengals.

It’s expected to be freezing temperatures in Cincinnati tomorrow, which may limit the quarterbacks in this game. In the event that Joe Burrow and Derek Carr are handicapped, this will be the time for Joe Mixon and Josh Jacobs to show out.

But which one should you trust in your rushing yard props? Let’s look at the odds.

WynnBET has Mixon’s rushing line at 77.5 (Over: -115/Under: -115) and Jacob’s at 60.5 (Over: -115/Under: -115). In the first matchup, Mixon ran all over the Raiders. He finished with 30 carries for 123 yards and one touchdown. Meanwhile, the Bengals had Josh Jacobs in a straight jacket. They bottled him up for 37 yards on nine carries and zero touchdowns.

I think Mixon will out run Jacobs again. However, I see both players hitting the over on their props. Jacobs ended the season strong, rushing for over 120 yards twice and clearing this line in the other. Mixon, on the other hand, hasn’t cleared this line since Week 12. Still, Mixon gets my trust because I see him getting a lot of carries in the freezing cold.

Mixon hasn’t had at least 20 carries since Week 12 against Pittsburgh. Mixon has had at least 20 carries in four games this year. He’s cleared this line in three of them. As long as the Bengals give him an opportunity, Mixon will succeed.

Both backs are going to get a lot of work in the cold climate, making way for some big performances to kick the playoffs into full gear.
