Kansas State vs South Dakota Prediction and Pick

South Dakota lost to the Kansas Jayhawks last season, putting up only 14 points. As good as people think the Jayhawks will be this season, these Kansas State Wildcats are a significantly better team. I don't know how anyone is supposed to stop Deuce Vaughn, but it's practically impossible for an FCS school like the Coyotes.

Between Vaughn and Adrian Martinez, Kansas State's rushing attack is deadly. Martinez rushed for over 500 yards in each of his four seasons at Nebraska with a whopping 35 total rushing touchdowns.

Even if Klein and the Wildcats take it easy on South Dakota to avoid putting too much of the offensive scheme on film, Kansas State's rushing advantage will allow it to score at will.

The Wildcats are 6-2-1 against the spread in their last nine games as favorites. I expect that trend to continue in a blowout victory to get revenge from 2018's close-call.
