The Houston Rockets have taken care of business in the easier part of their schedule, winning six consecutive games ahead of Wednesday’s tilt with the Brooklyn Nets

Brooklyn will be in the second game of a back-to-back after a come-from-behind win over the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday night.

Can Brooklyn and Kevin Durant snap Houston’s winning streak?

Here are the odds via WynnBET:

Nets vs. Rockets Odds, Spread and Total

Spread:

  • Nets -6.0 (-110)
  • Rockets +6.0 (-110)

Moneyline:

  • Nets: -240
  • Rockets: +200

Total:

  • 226.5 (Over -110/Under -110)

Nets vs. Rockets Prediction and Pick

Durant has been getting some heavy usage as of late, playing 40.4 minutes per game over his last five contests.

I’m sure that Nets head coach Steve Nash would like to get his superstars (Durant and James Harden) some rest in this one, but the Rockets have been a pesky team as of late and have covered in six of their last eight games.

Kevin Porter Jr. and Jalen Green are both expected to miss tonight’s game, so Houston’s offense (27th in offensive rating) may have trouble with a surprising Nets defense (sixth in defensive rating) on Wednesday.

Brooklyn is just 9-14-1 against the spread this season, but it should be motivated in Harden’s return to Houston.

Pick: Nets -6 (-110)
