The NHL playoffs are officially underway and we've already had a few upsets in the first couple of days.

Washington knocked off Florida, the Kings beat the Oilers, the Penguins outlasted the Rangers, and the Blues dominated Minnesota.

After so many upsets already, there's bound to be some more in today's action-packed slate. With four games on tap for tonight, which underdog is most likely to notch a victory? Let's use the odds from WynnBET Sportsbook to find out:

NHL Playoffs Underdog of the Day

Los Angeles Kings (+170)

The Kings avoided blowing a two-goal lead when they scored with five minutes left to secure a 4-3 victory over the Oilers on Monday. Los Angeles is rolling right now and this line is far too large for my liking.

Edmonton's biggest problem is in goal, as Mike Smith has long been a nightmare in the playoffs. It's hard to pin a loss on any one player, but Smith picked a terrible time for a crucial error in committing a mindless turnover that led to the Kings' game-winning goal.

Take a look at this picture taken moments before Smith decided to lose the game:

Now, just watch how this play unfolds. It's truly unbelievable.

"Oh no what is you doing" is right on the money. Because what on earth was THAT?

Mike Smith has now lost ten consecutive playoff starts while allowing 3.8 goals per game, yet is somehow a -190 favorite tonight? No chance.

Los Angeles has won six of seven and will have former Stanley Cup MVP Jonathan Quick in net. Do you trust the guy whose light has shone bright on the biggest stage? Or the guy who just did whatever the heck that was in that video up there? I know my answer.

Give me the Kings as the NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs Underdog of the Day.

Pick: Kings (+170)
