The Oregon Ducks are undefeated after beating the Fresno State Bulldogs in Week 1, a Fresno State team that is now ranked No. 22 by the way, then defeating the then-No. 3 Ohio State Buckeyes in Columbus at the Horseshoe, and finally walloping FCS Stony Brook at home in Eugene this past weekend.

The stiffest competition left on their schedule may be two road games, Stanford on Oct. 2 and UCLA on Oct. 23. It’s really hard to find a loss on the Ducks’ schedule moving forward.

If Oregon can pull off an undefeated season, there should be no reason to be left out of the College Football Playoff, and once it gets into the playoff, it’s really anyone’s title to be had.

Here are the latest odds from WynnBET for the College Football Championship.

Odds to Win the College Football Playoff

Alabama +180

Georgia +220

Oklahoma +700

Clemson +1500

Ohio State +1500

Field +2000

Oregon +3000

So when it comes to winning the National Championship, the Ducks are behind an Oklahoma team that has survived two scares already from Nebraska and Tulane, and an Ohio State team that they have already beaten?

I know it’s early, and there is a lot of football left, but that’s got to sting if you’re Oregon.

And if you’re a sports bettor, maybe place a bet on Oregon to win the whole thing now before its odds get even shorter.
