Orioles vs. White Sox Prediction and Odds for Sunday, June 26 (Back UNDER on Dylan Cease Day)
By Peter Dewey
The Baltimore Orioles have won four straight games and now have more wins on the season than the Chicago White Sox heading into their season finale on Sunday afternoon.
The Orioles are really not a bad team this season, they just play in the toughest division in baseball that's made it tough on them to get to .500. Baltimore would be a top-three team in both other American League divisions so far this season.
The White Sox have their stopper on the mound Sunday, as AL Cy Young candidate Dylan Cease (5-3, 2.68 ERA) gets the ball. Baltimore sends Jordan Lyles (4-6, 4.92 ERA) to the mound as he looks to overcome his struggles from his last few starts.

Orioles vs. White Sox Prediction and Pick
The Orioles are the best team in baseball on the run line this season, going 46-27.
However, things are going to be a lot tougher against Cease, who ranks in the 91st percentile or better in several important advanced stats this season. There’s a reason he’s +1500 to win AL Cy Young in 2022.
Lyles, on the other hand, has made 14 starts this season and allowed three or more runs in nine of them. He is coming off a solid outing against the Washington Nationals, but prior to that he had allowed 15 runs in 15.1 innings over three starts.
The White Sox have not been great on offense this season, ranking 21st in OPS and 24th in runs scored.
I want to back the O’s on the run line, but I don’t trust Lyles to keep this close against Cease.
Instead, I’ll back the UNDER with the total up at 9.5 and Cease pitching as well as he is.
Lean: UNDER 9.5 (-125)
