The Memphis Grizzlies and the New Orleans Pelicans meet for the second time in about 10 days.

New Orleans is starting to find its groove, winning five of its last six. Memphis is hoping to find its rhythm, as it is coming off a loss and wants to get Ja Morant and Jaren Jackson Jr. back up to speed.

The Pelicans won the first meeting, but can they go on the road and do it?

Pelicans vs. Grizzlies Prediction and Pick

With Ja Morant and Jaren Jackson Jr. back in the lineup, the Grizzlies are just one piece away from being full strength. Memphis came up short in Morant’s return, but the Pelicans are a good matchup to get a win.

Over the last five games, both teams have improved their defenses, with the Pelicans being the best defense in the league. Memphis’ offensive numbers won’t be accurate since Morant has been out, but Memphis’ early season offensive numbers were spectacular when he was on the floor.

The Grizzlies’ problem was that people were scoring close to the basket too often at the start of the year. JJJ cleans a lot of that up, which puts the Grizzlies back in the position they were last season – a serious Finals contender.

New Orleans will also be without CJ McCollum, which gives it one less offensive option and takes away its pseudo-point guard.

Memphis has it’s dynamic duo back, so I’ll take the Grizzlies tonight.
