Two undefeated teams face off on Thanksgiving with the Purdue Boilermakers taking on the West Virginia Mountaineers.

These teams are both in the top-40 in the latest rankings at KenPom, and Matt Painter’s Purdue squad has an elite offense, led by big man Zach Edey (20.7 points per game).

The loss of Jaden Ivey hasn't been felt as much early in the season for the Boilermakers, but this is a tough test against a defensive-minded West Virginia squad.

Here’s a look at the latest odds:

Purdue vs. West Virginia Prediction and Pick

Dealing with the 7’4 Edey is going to be tough for the Mountaineers, as they don’t have a player taller than 6’10 on the roster.

Purdue is 15th in the country in adjusted offensive efficiency and 51 in adjusted defensive efficiency, while the Mountaineers are 49th and 40th in those categories.

West Virginia has handled lesser competition this season, while the Boilermakers won their first real test against Marquette by five points.

I don’t have a great feel for a side with such a short spread, so I’m going to look to the OVER between these two top-50 offenses.

The Mountaineers press could generate some turnovers and easy baskets, and both of these teams have gone over this number in two games this season.
