Raptors vs. Celtics Prediction and Odds: Back Raptors to Pull Off Upset
By Peter Dewey
The Boston Celtics will look to avenge their early-season loss to the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday night.
Toronto (6-5) blew out Boston 115-83 in their first meeting, and Toronto has surprised a lot of people without Pascal Siakam to start this season. OG Anunoby is an early contender to win the NBA’s Most Improved Player award, but can he and the Raptors slow down Jayson Tatum tonight?
Here are the odds via WynnBET:
Raptors vs. Celtics Odds, Spread and Total
Spread:
- Raptors +2.0 (-110)
- Celtics -2.0 (-110)
Moneyline:
- Raptors: +110
- Celtics: -130
Total:
- 207.0 (Over -110/Under -110)
Raptors vs. Celtics Prediction and Pick
The Celtics are favored in this game, but they won’t have Jaylen Brown who is out for 1-2 weeks with a hamstring injury.
I can’t get to Boston at this number, even at home, given the Celtics struggles on both sides of the ball. Boston is 22nd in the NBA in offensive rating, but now 12th in offensive rating following their matchup with the Dallas Mavericks.
Toronto has a top 10 defense this season, and has impressed even without Siakam, who returned this weekend against the Brooklyn Nets. I’m all over Toronto as an underdog tonight.
Pick: Raptors moneyline (+110)
