The Boston Red Sox and Toronto Blue Jays will play the final game of a four-game series on Thursday afternoon. The Jays captured the victory in the first two outings, but the Red Sox snagged the 7-1 win in the third game on Wednesday.

Two stud pitchers will face-off in the series finale. Garrett Whitlock (0.66 ERA) will start for the Red Sox, and Alek Manoah (2.00) will take the bump for the Jays.

Let's take a look at the odds via WynnBET for today's AL East battle.

Red Sox vs. Blue Jays Prediction and Pick

I think Alek Manoah is a legitimate Cy Young candidate, and I think he's going to build on that resume today. He's 3-0 with a 2.00 ERA and a 1.000 WHIP through his first three starts, and now he gets to face a Red Sox team that ranks 18th in MLB in both batting average and OPS vs. right-handed pitchers.

Meanwhile, this will be Garrett Whitlock's second start in his MLB career. He came out of the bullpen for the Red Sox last year and showed fantastic stuff, but he's still not fully used to being a full-time starter in the Majors yet. It's going to be a tall task to get through this Blue Jays lineup a couple of times, and I'm not confident he'll get through it unscathed.

I'll back the Blue Jays to secure the series win at home today.

Lean: Blue Jays -146
