Cincinnati brings a three-game losing streak into Los Angeles today as the 2-5 Reds take on the 4-2 Dodgers at 10:10 PM EST tonight in the second-game of a four-game series.

The Dodgers exploded for six runs in the bottom of the eighth inning last night to blow the game open, but it was close throughout until then.

Vladimir Gutiérrez gets the call for the Reds and gave up a pair of runs over 4.1 innings against Atlanta in his first start. Los Angeles will counter with Tony Gonsolin, who serves as an opener for a bullpen day. He gave up one run over three innings against Colorado last week while striking out three.

Can Gonsolin build off his solid start to get the Dodgers a fourth-straight win or will the Reds snap out of their slump?

Here are the odds from WynnBET Sportsbook to help us find value in this Reds vs Dodgers matchup:

Reds vs Dodgers Prediction and Pick

The Dodgers have significant advantages across the board today. Gonsolin won't go deep today, but Los Angeles' bullpen has a 2.88 ERA so far in 2022 and the Reds are really struggling at the plate. Not a single Cincinnati hitter has an above average hard hit percentage to this point and Gonsolin excels at limiting hard contact.

Gutiérrez was solid in his opening start but he struggles with command. He only made it out of the fourth inning once in his final six starts of 2021, giving up 22 runs in 21 innings during that stretch for a 9.43 ERA.

If he can't go deep in this one, the Reds are in trouble. They have the fifth-worst bullpen ERA in baseball so far and Cincinnati has given up 26 runs combined over their last three games.

Los Angeles, meanwhile, has scored at least seven runs in three straight contests while limiting their opponents to five total runs in that span.

The Dodgers have the starting pitching advantage, the bullpen advantage, and the offensive advantage, so I think they roll today. Give me Los Angeles to cover the run line for the fourth straight game.

Pick: Dodgers -1.5 (-120)
