The New Orleans Saints Have Tom Brady's Number
By Reed Wallach
I think we all can agree that Tom Brady is the most successful quarterback in NFL history. He has seven Super Bowl wins, almost every passing record known to man, and at 44 years old is the favorite to win NFL MVP at WynnBET Sportsbook.
It feels like nothing can stop Brady...except for the New Orleans Saints.
It's worth noting that Brady did beat the Saints when it mattered most, winning in New Orleans in the NFC Divisional Round last season, but he struggled in that one as well, completing 19-of-33 passes for 199 yards.
Let's go back to Sunday Night Football though. While the Bucs did lose several key contributors, Brady had nothing going on in the passing game. He finished the game with 216 passing yards on 48 pass attempts, leading the Tampa Bay offense to a whopping 0 points.
The Saints became the second divisional opponent to sweep Tom Brady in a season. The other one? The 2020 Saints!
Keep in mind that this season can play out just like the 2020 one, with the roles reversed with the Saints possibly travelling to Raymond James Stadium to face the Bucs in the postseason. As of this writing, the Bucs are the No. 3 seed while the Saints are the No. 7 seed.
Let's hope next regular season goes better for Brady, at least for the sake of the tablets out there.
