There's only seven games in Major League Baseball on Monday, but there are still plenty of bets to place on the action at WynnBET Sportsbook.

BetSided's Reed Wallach and Iain MacMillan broke down how they are playing some of the matchups on Monday, April 25.

Boston Red Sox vs. Toronto Blue Jays Prediction and Pick

Nathan Eovaldi has been plagued by home runs early in this season, allowing five through through starts, but his last start was a strong outing against this same Blue Jays team. He only went 4.2 innings and allowed seven hits, but allowed one run and struck out six.

While he wasn't able to go deep into the game, I'm going to angle for the first five innings as my favorite bet in this game. I'm going to fade Jose Berrios, who has struggled in his first full season with Toronto. He is struggling to generate ground ball contact, a career low 30% this season, and a FIP (Fielding Independent Pitching) near seven on the season. So, it's not poor fielding or anything, it's his high walk rate (north of four per nine innings) and declining strikeout rate.

Both offenses can put up runs and I'm not all that interested in fading the Blue Jays, but I think the Red Sox starter has the goods to put together a strong start, even if it's around the same amount as his most recent start.

LEAN: Red Sox F5 (-105) -- Reed Wallach

Houston Astros vs. Texas Rangers Prediction and Pick

The Houston offense has got off to a rough start this season. They're 19th in OPS AND 26th in batting average. Any team with those kinds of offensive numbers shouldn't be favored on the road, so I'm going to take a shot on the Rangers here.

Framber Valdez gets the start for the Astros, which is good news for Texas. The Rangers have been much better against lefties so far this season, sporting an OPS of .777 which is the sixth best mark in the Majors.

The Astros bullpen has been much better than the Rangers. They rank sixth in bullpen ERA compared to the Rangers who rank 29th, so I'm going to look more towards the first five innings instead.

Pick: Rangers F5 ML (+120) -- Iain MacMillan

San Francisco Giants vs. Milwaukee Brewers Prediction and Pick

Corbin Burnes is following up his Cy Young season with fantastic results, posting a 2.37 ERA through 4 starts. While he has allowed a few more homers to start the season, 3 already after giving up just 7 in 2021, he still is the elite pitcher we saw last season.

He'll be facing a Giants offense that is far from special this season, 15th in wRC+ (which accounts for run scoring chances normalized across stadiums) as well as on-base percentage.

This is setting up for a bit of a pitcher's duel as the Giants counter with Sam Long and their deep bullpen. Long may not be elite, 9.64 ERA in 2022, but he also won't be asked to do all that much but go through the order once. After that, it'll be the San Fran pen that carries them home, which has a Major League Baseball best 1.71 ERA.

It helps that Long, a lefty, will be facing a Brewers lineup that has the second lowest batting average against southpaws this season, checking in at .176.

The total is low and for good reason, but I still think this is setting up for a rock fight between two elite pitching staffs and two offense that struggle to generate explosive offense.
