Pittsburgh fans go beyond loyal, loving the athletes they cheer for. And Penguins fans have had some incredible athletes to root for. Mario Lemieux is arguably the greatest hockey player of all-time. At the very least, he saved the Penguins, both as a player and as an owner. Few athletes are more beloved by their city than him.
