Marvel’s comic book arm seemed to have some difficulty balancing the public’s twin desires for inclusion and tradition, occasionally overcorrecting in one direction or the other. Still, if it’s true that fans vote with their wallets, there are an awful lot of ballots being cast all the time for what the company is doing, and there’s arguably never been a better time to wear your Marvel fandom on your sleeve.
