After the trade was announced, Raptors fans poured their hearts out for DeMar, thanking him for everything he’d done for the team and the city. As the deluge of blog posts, tweets and videos piled up it was reminder of just how strong the emotional bond can be between a player and fans, in both directions. Kudos to Raptors’ fans for letting one of the greatest players in franchise history know just how much he meant to them.
