Passing the torch is a delicate act, especially when that torch is coming from Dirk Nowitzki. But his farewell tour was as close to perfect as possible for his adoring Mavs fans, and Luka Doncic’s avalanche of triple-doubles, smooth step-back 3s and unholy passing ability should have those same fans feeling very good about the future.
