If you have 100-plus hours to spare and enjoy open-world RPGs, Assassin's Creed: Valhalla is the game for you. You can plow through the main story, winning over loyalty from different regions of ninth-century England, but it's also easy to get lost in the side quests for hours on end. Between a variety of puzzles and hack-and-slash pillaging, Assassin's Creed: Valhalla offers something for everyone.

Why you should join this fandom
If you've ever played an Assassin's Creed game, you'll feel right at home with Valhalla. Even if you haven't, it's a great way to dip your toes into the series, as you don't need to know the backstory behind the Animus or the Order of the Ancients to enjoy the game. And for those with newborns at home — I had my first one in March — it's a great way to spend an hour or two as your baby takes his or her sixth nap of the day on you.
What is this fandom’s best tradition?
Assassin's Creed games are known for being expansive, but Valhalla might be the biggest one yet. Beyond the main story missions, each region is jam-packed with treasures, mysteries, and artifacts that can help increase your effectiveness in combat. If you're a completionist, Valhalla will keep you busy for a long time.
