How this fandom is changing sports
Gonzaga Basketball went from completely unknown to Cinderella to a national powerhouse and name brand in just over two decades. There’s no underdog story as good as this in modern college sports, and none of it would have been possible without the support of fans around the world supporting the Zags. In the 2020-21 season, Gonzaga almost pulled off the first undefeated season in men’s college basketball since 1975-76 Indiana Hoosiers.
Why you should join this fandom
If you’re not on the bandwagon for America’s Team yet, you should be because the Zags got dudes! Year in and year out, Gonzaga is the most fun team to watch in all of college basketball. The 2021 team almost went undefeated, and the 2022 team is better at almost every position than that team. Watch out for Gonzaga in 2022 and beyond!
