All due respect to LaMelo Ball, Steph Curry and Kevin Durant, but there is no more exciting player in the NBA right now than Ja Morant. He plays with a palpable electricity and often seems to be moving at another speed, if not in another dimension, than everyone else on the floor. He has the requisite athleticism, creativity, intensity and lack of fear to make anything possible and even his failed dunks and turnovers are must-see highlights.

Morant kicked off the 2020-21 season with a monster performance — 37 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists in an opening night win over the Cleveland Cavaliers. It put the league on notice that Morant was ready to take himself and his team to the next level and provided a launching pad for what could prove to be his first All-Star season.
