Midnight Mass

SEE ALL TV
I was not expecting to enjoy Midnight Mass as much as I did. I went into this new Netflix show — Mike Flanagan’s follow-up to The Haunting series — thinking it would be another cute supernatural story perfect for the mainstream. I was pleasantly surprised to find it incredibly poignant and beautiful, not to mention extremely dark. It starts off very slow, which will likely turn casual horror fans away, but it’s the best show I’ve seen this year.
