The Yankees have one of the best fanbases in the MLB, and being part of a fanbase who had to watch their split-squad roster the whole season while still staying passionate is awesome. The fans refused to give up on this team, despite COVID and injuries forcing them to play with half a roster of Triple-A players. The Yankees rewarded us with a 21-7 August that had them at the top of the AL Wild Card picture. It made for an exciting season even if it didn't end the way we were hoping.

The massive fan base has driven that Yankee brand to be the most recognizable sports franchise in the world. As someone who covers the Angels, I've been interviewed by multiple Japanese media outlets and been asked if Shohei Ohtani will be a Yankee soon. Yankee fandom has even driven excitement for the team all over the globe.
