Caitlin Clark

The reigning Big Ten Player of the Year is an absolute force, averaging 27.0 points, 8.0 rebounds and 8.0 assists for the Iowa Hawkeyes, leading the nation in both scoring and assists last year. Her offensive creativity is unmatched and while she may not be the undisputed best player in women's college basketball, she's definitely the most exciting.

Best fan moment of the year

The highlight of Clark's year was her domination of No. 6 Michigan in Iowa's regular-season finale. She finished with 38 points, 11 assists and 6 rebounds, shooting 8-of-11 from beyond the arc as Iowa clinched a share of the regular-season Big Ten title, something they hadn't achieved since 2008.

What was the icon or totem for this fandom this year?

It's the pull-up jumper. Moving left, moving right, or simply stepping back against a sagging defense, it's among the most reliable weapons in basketball.
