The Rehearsal debuted this year and it was one of the strangest, most mystifying, and intriguing shows I've ever seen backdropped by stage performance comedy.

Why we needed this fandom this year
By and large, most TV shows feel generally the same. The stories may be different, but there is little innovation to be done in how a show is produced and how that final product is presented to viewers. The Rehearsal innovated in every way, blurring the lines between the fourth wall and the show itself, innovating even while coronavirus protocols made it difficult to do so.
What emotion defined this fandom this year?
Confusion. The format for The Rehearsal changed dramatically week-to-week and had viewers wondering what was real, what was scripted, and what would happen next. It wasn't a cliffhanger, but it was a head-scratcher at every turn.
