The Mariners recorded yet another memorable season for fans to enjoy. The only bummer was that they didn’t make the playoffs, but things went down to the wire and they almost sneaked in during the final weekend of the campaign. The future feels like it’s bright for this squad, especially with star center fielder Julio Rodriguez in Seattle for the long haul.

Best fan moment of the year
There are plenty of great memories to bring up, but we’ve got to talk about the Mariners hosting the All-Star Game for the first time in more than 20 years. Julio Rodriguez participated in the Home-Run Derby and although he didn’t win, it was awesome to see T-Mobile Park so electric with J-Rod smashing some monster dingers in the early rounds.
What we’ll remember about this fandom a decade from now
Fans are hoping this year’s team will spark some changes in the offseason, with people calling on general manager Jerry Dipoto to bring in some big names. Last year, the Mariners made the playoffs for the first time since 2001. After the heartbreaking finish in 2023, coupled with the young talent on this squad, fans are ready for the Mariners to go on a World Series run sooner rather than later.
