Incredible animation, nonstop action, much-needed representation, a killer soundtrack, and a heartfelt story? Yeah, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is superhero media at its best. The sequel to 2018's Into the Spider-Verse did the impossible and actually improved on the original, engaging audiences and going beyond expectations. Getting to see a biracial protagonist living in Brooklyn on the big screen is such a special treat, and despite this being a world where superheroes exist, the movie’s authenticity to the New York experience and the value of family makes it feel so real.
