This was a great year for Star Trek. From the satisfying conclusion of Picard, to strong seasons from Strange New Worlds and Lower Decks, this was just an incredibly remarkable year for the Star Trek franchise. As a lifelong fan, it's hard to think of a stronger all-around year for the franchise.

Best fan moment of the year
The crossover between Strange New Worlds and Lower Decks was just incredibly fun. Both series really understand Star Trek in their own ways despite one being a live-action drama and the other a 30-minute cartoon. But seeing them merge their viewpoints, and Boimler and Mariner in real life was just probably the most fun episode of TV I watched this year.
What was the icon or totem for this fandom this year?
Possible spoiler: The return of the Enterprise-D in Picard. For many fans, the Enterprise of The Next Generation was the one we were first and most familiar with. If its return in Picard doesn't give a Star Trek fan goosebumps, I don't know what will.
