Virgin River is the emotional modern-day soap opera that fans are more than a little obsessed with. How can so much be happening in a “quiet little town“???? There's romance, bad guys, aging and health issues, and babies all wrapped into one lovely and dramatic show. When I first started watching, I figured it was something to just have on in the background....and then quickly became emotionally invested in all of the characters and never looked back.
