Angel Reese

Angel Reese went from college to the WNBA in 2024, and she said she was excited to start over from the bottom. However, she didn’t look like a player starting from the bottom, entering the league as a record-breaking force. In her first year with the Chicago Sky, Reese set a new record for most consecutive double-doubles with 15. She also set a rookie record for most double-doubles in a season with 26 and the record for most rebounds in a single season, but A’ja Wilson later broke that record. Still, Reese became the first WNBA player to average 13.1 rebounds per game. In addition to all her records, she finished second in Rookie of the Year voting and was named an All-Star in her first season.
