For years, I'd waxed poetic about the excellent production, the brilliant acting of the leads and each of the four seasons somehow expanding in scope and quality. But those glowing endorsements often failed to land because the show simply wasn't accessible enough. Well, that's no longer true. Few things have been more satisfying in 2024 than actually getting people to join the growing legions of Black Sails supporters and talk about the unforgettable set pieces, memorable monologues, captivating fight scenes and so much more.

And speaking of the acting, Toby Stephens delivers a tour de force that will stick with you long after the story has come to a close.
