Caitlin Clark was such an inspiration this year, not just for basketball fanatics but for young girls everywhere. Clark showed that it doesn't take going to the highest-ranked school or spending all the money in the world to become great at your craft. The Iowa native showed that hard work and a great mindset can get you where you want to be in life. Seeing all the little girls look up to her and say they want to be her when they are older was very inspiring. She helped put women's sports in a spotlight like it has never seen before.

Not only did she break numerous records on the women's side of the sports, but she broke men's records as well, showing her dominance is not held back by gender. Clark has created a new narrative for the world of women's sports and given it a new platform to stand on, growing it for all the young girls in the future.
What we’ll remember about this fandom a decade from now
It is easy to say that we will remember Caitlin Clark's record-breaking performances, but I want to go one step further. One thing that will be remembered a decade from now about Caitlin Clark is her ability to do it at every level. Clark dominated in high school and college and is doing it now in the WNBA. And she is doing it even through all the media craziness of the world. So many people had opinions about how she would perform at different levels or against certain opponents, but she just tunes out all the noise, goes out and plays the sport she loves most.
